These terms apply to North Ogden Residents Directory. By using the pages or search tools, a visitor accepts these terms and agrees to use the information lawfully and carefully. The service is a private reference that points toward public and institutional sources. It is not North Ogden City, Weber County, Utah, a court, a library, or a records custodian.
1. Nature of the Reference
Pages summarize routes to Weber County parcel, Recorder, Assessor, election, court, vital, library, archive, and municipal records. They do not host the official record, certify a name or address, or guarantee that an office will release an item. A result may be stale, incomplete, misspelled, classified, or absent from an online index.
2. Acceptable Use
Use the service for lawful personal research, family history, reconnecting, property or local-history curiosity, and civic understanding. Do not probe, scrape, overload, impersonate, bypass access controls, or use a search to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person. Do not submit data that you are not permitted to use.
3. Consumer Reporting Status
North Ogden Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 and following. Information is not supplied for a consumer report or for a decision governed by that law. Visitors must make their own lawful determination about any use of a public record.
4. Outside Links
Links lead to official and institutional sites, including Weber County, North Ogden City, Utah Courts, state agencies, Weber Public Library, Stewart Library, and Utah State Archives. Those operators set their own terms, privacy notices, fees, forms, and availability. A link is not an endorsement or guarantee.
5. No Warranty
The service is provided as available, without a promise that pages, links, searches, summaries, or source systems will be current, complete, secure, or error-free. Official public records change and access conditions can differ by record age, classification, identity, and custodian.
6. Liability Limits
To the extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the pages, a linked source, a search, an unavailable record, or reliance on a summary. Nothing here removes a right that cannot legally be waived.
7. Your Responsibility
The visitor is responsible for checking the official source, reading its terms, confirming the retrieval date, and using the record lawfully. A person who causes loss through misuse, unlawful contact, or violation of these terms agrees to be responsible for resulting claims to the extent permitted by law.
8. Copyright and Content
Site text, layout, branding, and original graphics belong to the operator or their licensors unless a source states otherwise. Do not copy, republish, frame, or redistribute substantial portions without permission. Official sources retain their own rights and terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
Terms may be revised when the service or applicable law changes. The current version controls after publication. A continued visit after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms to the extent the law allows.
10. Suspension of Access
Access may be limited or ended for abuse, security risk, unlawful use, excessive automated requests, or conduct that threatens people or the service. A source custodian may also restrict its own portal under its rules.
11. Utah Law
Utah law governs these terms to the extent it applies, without changing mandatory rights under another law. Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act is Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2. GRAMA governs records held by public entities; it does not make this private reference a custodian. The Utah Consumer Privacy Act is Utah Code section 13-61-101 and following and may apply to covered data practices.
12. Severability
If a court finds one term unenforceable, the remaining terms continue as far as permitted. The invalid part should be narrowed or removed only to the extent required.
13. Questions
Questions about a source record should go to its custodian. Questions about the reference may be sent through the contact route. Include the page, source, and issue, but do not send sensitive identity documents unless an official secure process requests them.
